The Minnesota Department of Transportation is currently drafting plans for improving traffic conditions along the Northstar Corridor, a long stretch that reaches Minneapolis along highways 10 and 94. Among the possible solutions is an advanced railway system that would augment the already-existing commuter services. Getting in and around the Metro North area is simple enough, thanks to the bus routes of the Anoka County Traveler. In addition, a half-hour drive makes sky travel possible via the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport.
